This program which is wonderful for the body is also mentally and emotionally stimulating.  In addition children will be exposed to the Spanish language.

Ballroom for Kids

Grab a partner and learn some basic fundamental movements of smooth dances such as waltz and foxtrot. In this fun class children will learn basic lead and follow patterns and move gracefully around the floor. This is a great way to develop social skills as well as partner skills.

Bilingual Drama

In this section the class will read a story in Spanish and English. Children will act out the parts and learn Spanish phrases and basic conversation.  Also each student will change the ending of the story and make his/her own book. At the end of the week we will select one of the books created by one of the children and act out the story line. Not only will children experience drama but we will discuss character, theme, setting, and plot. What a wonderful way to aid children to develop their imagination, creativity, and learn some basic drama skills.
